ANALISIS FREKUENSI PEMBERIAN PAKAN KOMERSIAL PADA IKAN KAKAP PUTIH (Lates calcariver)

Abstract

The success of this fish farming business is largely determined by the availability of feed in the maintenance medium, in which these fish belong to carnivorous fish that are needed for higher protein than herbivorous types of fish. This study aims to determine the optimal feeding frequency for White Snapper fish cultivated in waring in ponds. This research was conducted from July 15 to September 15, 2021 at the Pond and Field Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Indonesian Muslim University, in Kali Bone, Minasa Te'ne District, Pangkajene Islands Regency. This study used the Complete Randomized Design (RAL) method The results showed that different feeding frequencies had no real effect on the growth, survival and FCR of White Snapper. It is recommended to give feed twice a day to white snapper to obtain optimal growth and survival results.
